By means of Communication A 7622 the BCRA informs that as from today 17.10.2022 the entities will be able to give access to the foreign exchange market for the payment of imports declared in the SIRA.
Likewise, the entities must consult, in the online system implemented by the BCRA for such purposes, the status of the transaction with respect to those requirements applicable to it.
They must also, at the time of granting access to the foreign exchange market, validate the transaction in the “Foreign Trade Single Current Account” computer system implemented by the AFIP.
Among other points, the regulation mentions that for import payments associated with declarations made in the Integral Import Monitoring System (SIMI), the regulations in force at that time will continue to apply. It is not necessary to declare in the SIRA.
